As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure optimal results aligning with departmental targets, policies, and procedures. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent guest service that adheres to hotel standards, ultimately leading to overall guest satisfaction. You will identify training needs and develop plans to maintain service standards through monthly training sessions for colleagues. Additionally, you will participate in daily briefings and meetings to ensure effective communication within the team while addressing guest inquiries promptly.
In this role, you will actively engage in promotional activities for the restaurant and create new promotions to attract guests and meet revenue targets. By preparing duty rosters based on forecasts, you will ensure adequate staffing levels for operational requirements. Evaluating team performance regularly will allow you to initiate promotions or internal transfers as needed. Furthermore, you will address guest complaints directly or consult with the Head of F&B to ensure prompt resolution and guest satisfaction. Maintaining high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, cleanliness in the restaurant, as well as upholding environmental health and safety standards are crucial aspects of this position.
