As the Finance Manager for two manufacturing entities, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the fiscal health of both units. Your responsibilities will include preparing timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements, collaborating with Senior Accountants to streamline reporting processes, monitoring expenditures against budget targets, and closely monitoring Cash Flow and NWC.
In addition to financial reporting duties, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of Senior Accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. You will conduct performance reviews, set goals for your team's development, and ensure compliance with local financial regulations while addressing audit queries effectively.
Effective communication and collaboration are key aspects of this role as you will need to maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization. By working closely with various departments, you will ensure that financial practices align with overall business goals. Furthermore, you will be expected to identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting while evaluating financial systems or tools for optimization.
To qualify for this position, you should hold a Professional Qualification in Finance or Accounting (CA/ACCA Preferred) with 7-8 years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, effective communication capabilities, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
