Job duties
• Advise Management & Staff on methods to ensure effective utilization of financial resources.
• Establish and maintain a financial management system to provide for the entry of cost/revenue data, preparation, recording and distribution of invoices, identifying debtors and assessment of costs.
• 3Maintain a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions of the company in accordance with internationally recognized accounting practices.
• Perform work involving the full variety of transactions which normally effect pay, leave, taxes, benefits, deductions and record information of all employees during the payroll cycle.
• Maintain equipment records, property identification numbering and property inventories in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare budget and expenditures forecasts and monitor trends, cash flow and bank accounts.
• Prepare on a periodic basis, financial and statistical report in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist external auditors in the examination of records and evaluation of the company financial position and status.
• Prepare financial statements and periodic reports as deemed by management.
Requirements:
Experience and skills required for the job
• Degree in Finance or accounting from a reputable university preferably accredited with qualification CA/CPA/CFA.
• Minimum of (10) experience in a similar position.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel windows experience is a must).
• Good command of English (oral & Written).
