We are currently looking for a dynamic Global Director of Engineering to oversee our engineering function worldwide.
The Global Director of Engineering will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive global engineering strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives technical excellence in plastic injection molding, tooling, automation, and advanced manufacturing. Key responsibilities include leading the development of an engineering strategy across all facilities, championing design for manufacturability (DFM), process development, and tooling innovation, defining standardized engineering processes for consistent execution across programs and locations, collaborating with Program Management on product launches, identifying emerging technologies for competitive advantage, building a high-impact engineering team, fostering cross-functional integration between departments, cultivating relationships with customers and suppliers to drive innovation, partnering with Operations for process improvements, and tracking key engineering metrics.
To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics or related field), experience in a plastic injection molding environment, familiarity with APQP and PPAP requirements. A strong technical background in tooling, processing materials is required along with experience leading multi-site or global engineering teams. Successful candidates will have proven success in driving process improvement initiatives.
