As an Accountant at KEO International Consultants, you will play a crucial role in managing various financial aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, handling client AR invoices promptly, resolving discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders, as well as preparing electronic transfers and payments. You will also be responsible for maintaining organized accounts payable records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, assisting in month-end closing processes, reconciling AR and AP accounts when required, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field along with 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel is essential, while experience with Vantage Point ERP system would be advantageous. A good understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high accuracy levels with attention to detail are required. Strong organizational skills, effective communication both written and verbal are necessary. Being able to work independently as well as part of a team is important along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel. Bilingual proficiency in English & Arabic is preferred.
