We are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional for our operations in East Java, Tuban. The role involves identifying workplace hazards, assessing risks, implementing controls, overseeing compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), work permits, and daily safety procedures. Additionally, responsibilities include leading toolbox meetings, reviewing contractor Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Task Risk Assessment (TRA), recording incidents/near misses, conducting initial investigations with improvement recommendations, coordinating with operations supervisors to halt unsafe work practices, compiling weekly HSE reports, monitoring audit findings follow-up actions, and organizing emergency response simulations while ensuring readiness of emergency equipment.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Engineering or equivalent fields. They should have at least 3 years of experience as an HSE professional in industrial/energy projects with knowledge of work permits systems (LOTO), confined space entry procedures, hot work practices along with certification as a Certified General OHS Practitioner or equivalent being an added advantage. Strong communication skills for field directives and report writing are essential. Experience in conducting internal inspections and audits is preferred. Flexibility to be stationed at project sites and work shifts when required is necessary along with proficiency in office applications for reporting purposes.
