As a Permit-to-Work Coordinator at Bumi Khatulistiwa Energy, your responsibilities will include verifying the completeness of work permits before tasks commence, checking energy isolation and area securing compliance, coordinating work schedules with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors. You will also be tasked with archiving daily work permits, monitoring their validity periods, conducting on-site checks to compare actual conditions against permit requirements, halting work if permit criteria are not met, compiling weekly permit summaries and compliance statistics, as well as assisting in familiarizing new employees with permit-to-work procedures. To excel in this role, candidates must possess a minimum of a D3 degree in Engineering or equivalent education. Additionally, applicants should have 2-4 years of experience managing permit-to-work systems in process facilities. Proficiency in LOTO procedures (Lockout/Tagout), gas testing protocols, hazardous areas awareness is essential. Attention to detail in document examination and effective cross-team communication skills are crucial. The ability to interpret basic P&ID diagrams is an added advantage.
